Create clips of a livestream and share them on social media to help streamers gain more viewers!

▼ For Streamers
■ Settings
.APP
● Select “More Settings” before going live.
● Tap “Stream Clip.”
● You can set up who can make/download clips of your livestreams.
※ When “Not Allowed” is selected, clips cannot be created by viewers during the stream.
※ Streamers cannot create clips on their own during streams.
※ Only contracted streamers will see the setting about clip downloading.
● After the viewer creates a clip of your stream, a system message will be shown. You can click the message to share the clip.
● You can check the number of clips created by your viewers at the end of the stream.

.OBS
● Head to 17.live → Log in to your account → Click “Go Live” on the top to Stream with OBS.
● You can set up who gets to create clips of your streams.
※ Please make sure that archive recording options are toggled on so that “Stream Clips” can be enabled in your streams.
※ Streamers cannot create clips of their own streams.
※For the OBS livestream, only the "streaming content and comments" will be recorded and saved, but the gift animations will not be recorded.
■ Clips of Archive Videos
● “Profile” → “Stream Archive”
● Select ② to create clips of unpublished archive videos.
※ You can ① set up who can make/download clips of your archive videos.
※ Only contracted streamers will see the setting about archive clip downloading..
● You can also go to “Profile” → “Stream Archive” to create clips of the archive videos you have published.
※ Archive videos will expire after 7 days.
● Tap the “Scissors” icon on the bottom right.
※ The number right below the icon indicates how many clips have been created from this archive video.
● Select “Edit.”
● You can move the sliders on both sides of the archive video timeline to change the start and stop times. Tap “Next” on the top right after you’ve finished trimming.
※ Clips should be at least 15 seconds and no more than 90 seconds.
① Change the cover photo
② 50 words maximum for the title
③ 250 words maximum for the description
④ You can make the clip public, and it will be published on your profile page and the Genre page. You can also make the clip only available to users with the link to the clip.
● Once the clip is published, you can share it.

■ Clips
.Livestream
● After you’ve watched the livestream for 90 seconds, you can tap “⋯” and hit the “Scissors” icon to create clips.
※ The feature is not available for PK, Group Calls, or Army-only streams. If you have been muted or you don’t have permission, you will not be able to use the feature either.
■ Archive Videos
● Head to the profile page of the streamer → the tab for archive videos to select the archive video you’d like to create a clip from.
● Tap the “Scissors” icon on the bottom right.
※ If you have been muted or you don’t have permission, you will not be able to use the feature.
■ Create Clips
● You can move the sliders on both sides of the archive video timeline to change the start and stop times. Tap “Next” on the top right after you’ve finished trimming.
※ Clips should be at least 15 seconds and no more than 90 seconds.
※ Information or effects regarding time-limited gifts will not be displayed in clips.

● Your clips will be shown on your profile page, news feed, the Genre page, and the Explore page. They will expire after 30 days.

▼ Download Clips
● If the streamer allows their clips to be downloaded, you can hit “Share” to download clips and share them to social media.
※ Due to copyright and intellectual property considerations, the downloaded clips will not have sound.
※ Certain limited or copyrighted animations, gifts, and comment badges will not be displayed.
※ To download clips, users will have to have already follow the streamer for 7 days.
● If you choose to share the clip to Instagram, the clip will be downloaded in the format of MP4 and you will be directed to Instagram for the following steps.
※ If you are sharing the clip to the other social media, it will not be downloaded in the format of MP4. Only a sharing link will be generated instead.

※ The feature is not available in Army-only streams, Group Calls, PK mode.
※ Offline gifts are not supported in this feature.
※ Clips made before 2024/10/23 are not available for downloading.
※ Download feature is not supported with OBS livestream clips/archives.
