▼ Livestream Setting
■ Before starting a livestream
● Tap ① V-Stream → Click ② Go LIVE
● Select Character or Scene to change the settings.
※ Click “ ?” on the top left for more details.
● Click “Switch mode” to select how you’d like to create your character.
■ During the livestream
● Click “•••” on the bottom right → Select “Virtual Effect” to set up the virtual stream.

◆V-Create Mode
● Click “Switch mode” to switch to “V-Create mode.”
● Click “+” to select the model you’d like to create your character with.
● In the page, you get to tailor the details of your character and customize the color of each part.

※OPPO 15 is not compatible with V-Create mode.

◆ Pic-V Mode
●Click “Switch mode” to switch to “Pic-V mode”
● Click Add to upload your illustration and create your virtual character.
※ Click “?” on the top left for more details.
● Click Upload to upload the image from your device, or click “Learn more” for more details.
※ Do not use images that may infringe intellectual property rights.
※ For the quality of the livestream, please refrain from using pictures

.of a person wearing glasses, or having their hair covering the features and the body
Format:
1. Only .png is supported.
2. Size: under 20MB
3. Ratio: vertical (portrait) 2000-4000 px; horizontal (landscape) 1000-2000px
4. A transparent background is suggested.

● Hit “Create” to use the character.
■ Changing the Scene
● Click “Scene” to browse and select the default background that you fancy. Just like the default background, the background in use cannot be deleted.
● Add new scenes:
Click “Background” → Add → Choose an image from your device → Crop the image

■ Change Your Character on the App
● Click the virtual character that has been created.
■ Setting up Detection
●Click Detection to adjust the motion tracking sensitivity of the eyes, mouth , or head.
◆ 2D (Live2D) Mode
● Tap “2D” to switch to 2D mode.
■ Changing/Uploading Virtual Characters on the App
● Tap “Character” to check which one is in use (default). You can upload your own virtual character, too!
To upload your own character compress your Live2D file to a .zip file format and save it to your phone. Then tap ① “Add” to upload the file of your virtual character.
■ Uploading Virtual Characters on the Webpage
● Go to the 17LIVE webpage → Click ① “My Virtual Character” on the top right → ② Upload your virtual character here.

● Format
File size: 50MB <Updated on 8/22, may vary by device capacity.>
※ The format must be a Live2D file folder compressed to .zip. Please check that the folder contains model3.json and the file it describes.
Note
※ You can only upload 3 characters each on the app and the webpage. For built-in characters, you can have 7 virtual characters in total associated with your account. If you don't have a virtual character, you can design one with help from a 2D animation studio, or you can simply purchase a Live2D model.
※ Please export Live2D files to a suitable format to avoid possible issues with virtual characters' facial expressions. Currently, we support Cubism 3 and above.
※ Please name Live2D files and folders in alphanumeric characters to avoid garbled character names and incomplete files during file compression.
※ On Windows OS, We recommend using 7zip as the compression tool to compress the folders.

■ Changing the Scene
● Tap “①Scene” to select a default background; you can also tap ② to add a photo from your album to change the scene.
※ The background in use and default backgrounds cannot be deleted.
● Steps to add a photo:
Tap “②Add” → Select a photo from your album → Crop the photo

● After the photo is successfully uploaded, it can be used to change the scene.

■ Setting the Animation
● Tap “Animation” to check and pin animations.
※ You can pin up to 10 sets of animations. Once an animation is pinned, it can easily be found in the list.
● Tap the pinned animations to use the feature. The animation you select will be shown for 5 seconds.
※ If you’ve never pinned an animation before starting the livestream, please click the “figure” icon on the bottom left to use animations.
◆ 3D (VRM) Mode
● Tap “3D” to switch to 3D mode.
■ Select/Add a Character on the App
●Select “Character” to check available characters (default). You can also tap ① “Explore” to select a character from VRoid Hub.
●After linking your VRoid Hub account to the 17LIVE app, you can select a character from VRoid Hub.
※The character list only shows skins that comply with the Terms of Use. You can check your uploaded/favorited skins on VRoid Hub.
※ Please ensure you have reviewed the Terms of Use when selecting a character that doesn’t belong to you.
● After selecting a skin, it will be saved in your character list.

※ If you don't have a virtual character, you can design one with help from a 3D animation studio, or you can simply design one on VRoid Studio. In addition, you can save pre-existing skins on VRoid Hub and use those to go live.
※ Currently, 3D V-Stream mode is not supported on the following devices: iPhone 8 Plus and earlier models, Reno 4 series, Redmi Note 8 series, Pixel 3a series, Samsung Note 9 series and earlier models, as well as devices running on OS versions below Android 10. However, this limitation does not affect watching livestreams.

▼Disconnect VRoid Hub Account from 17LIVE
● Head to Profile → Advanced Settings → Linked Account
● Click “Remove” to disconnect your VRoid Hub account from 17LIVE
▼ Watching Virtual Livestreams
● Go to the “Genre” page and you can see virtual streamers under the “V-LIVER” section.

※ If you cannot use the mode your previously adopted, the system will automatically switch from the V-Create mode to the Pic-V mode and to the 3D mode (in order).
